Dark Chocolate Almond Nice Cream
Dark chocolate and almonds are a dream team. This healthy ice cream tastes like frozen almond bark but is much healthier! We bet you won’t miss the sugar or dairy.
- 2 cups frozen raspberries
- 2 Bananas
- 1 Tbsp arrowroot starch or tapioca flour
- 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1/4 +2 cup+Tbsp almond butter (or sunflower seed butter)
- 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients except for the almond butter.
About a minute on high will suffice to properly blend.
If you don’t have a high-speed blender, you may need to add a touch more water or milk so that it blends properly (we used about 1/4 cup).
Pour into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
You can eat it straight out of the freezer, but it’s best when slightly thawed.
